Tie the knot

(sponsored) There’s something very unusual going on here… I’m not wearing sunglasses. Actually it was my hairdresser yesterday who mentioned that she couldn’t remember the last time she had seen me without sunglasses, and it didn’t take me more than a quick look through my Instagram feed to realise that she was right. I always wear sunglasses. Even on a cloudy day. Why, you ask? Well, I’ve got two (very good) reasons. Firstly, I think a pair of sunglasses makes one look cooler – it’s as simple as that. And secondly it’s the easiest way to hide my lack of sleep. That’s it. So this outfit’s just to proof to you that I’ve got eyes behind those dark glasses.

And now to what this post is really about; the tie knot shirt. I love wearing my favourite jeans with a casual button-down shirt but most times the shirt’s too long for the high waist. Tucking the shirt inside the jeans can work but it comes with a bulky (and not so flattering) risk. That’s when I tie the shirt in one simple knot. And this light and slightly oversized shirt by FreeQuent is perfect for the occasion.

  1. I really like the shirt! And the way you wear it is so stylish. Which size do you have (if you don’t mind me asking)? 🙂

    1. Jeg bukker den ikke op, men synes den automatisk sætter sig op, når den bindes foran. Kommer måske an på, hvilket stof skjorten er lavet i. Skjorten jeg har på her er superblød i materialet 🙂

  2. agree! i’m falling in love with high-waist jeans from this season and obviously, the shirt should either go inside and hidden by half, or like what you said, tie the knot!
actually it could be quite playful and sexy when you have a knot and you raise up the arms 😀
